Pool Table Installation
Assembly, shimming and cloth, for a table that is staying where it is.
A table can be in the right flat and still be a pile of parts: delivered flat, bought second hand, inherited with the place, or abandoned halfway by whoever took it apart.
Frame built and squared, slate bolted, seams filled and worked flush, cloth stretched and fitted, level set. The shims take the time, because a floor in an older flat has been carrying load for a century and has settled toward the middle of its span rather than evenly.

What the visit covers, seven foot through nine.
- Frame and legs up, squared, with cue room clear of walls and radiators.
- Bed bolted, seams filled and worked until a ball crosses them silently.
- Cloth over the slate, fitted round the rails, pockets refitted.
- Rails back on, rubber checked while it is accessible.
- $30 extra if the table has to go up stairs on an installation.
We will only move one piece slates up or down stairs under certain conditions and for an extra charge.
What finished looks like
We here at Chicago Pool Table Movers guarantee all of our work. If you use our services and feel that we did something incorrectly, or that your table is becoming unlevel, we will come back out to fix the issue. This is good for six months after your service is completed.
Our normal appointment times are at 8 or 9 am and 1 or 2 pm. There is an additional cost of $30 if we need to carry the table up stairs on an installation. On a home to home move, stair charges may apply. We will not move one piece slate tables up or down stairs.
